Attic Insulation & Home Performance in San Antonio, Austin, Houston & the Texas Hill Country

We inspect the attic first — insulation depth, air sealing, ventilation and attic conditions — then recommend blown-in insulation, a top-off, or a full removal and replacement, whichever actually matches what we find.

Don't guess. Inspect.

An attic problem doesn't always look like an attic problem

Most homeowners don't think about their attic until a room won't cool down or the AC seems to run all day. Before recommending insulation, we measure what's actually up there — depth, coverage, approximate R-value — and check for the air leaks and ventilation issues that insulation alone can't fix.

If your attic checks out fine, we'll tell you that in writing. If it doesn't, you'll get a plain-language explanation of what we found and what it would take to fix it.

Materials

Cellulose and fiberglass, matched to your attic

Blown-in insulation is typically installed using cellulose or fiberglass loose-fill material — both are common, well-established options for Texas attics, and which one makes sense depends on the specifics of your attic and your existing insulation. We'll walk through the options that fit your project during the inspection rather than defaulting to one material for every job.

Radiant barrier is a separate attic-performance option that can help in some homes, mainly by reducing radiant heat gain through the roof deck — it's not a universal fix and we won't push it if it doesn't make sense for your attic. We'll bring it up only when it's genuinely worth considering for your home.
